We extend our heartfelt thanks to the amazing volunteers who joined forces on Sunday 17th March to clear sand from the steps, benches, and promenade at the Hengistbury Head end of Bournemouth Bay seafront. The enjoyable but hard work made a significant impact, ensuring that this part of the seafront remains accessible and inviting for local residents and visitors.
Despite the challenging task, the enthusiasm and commitment never wavered, and it was heart-warming to see such a wonderful display of community spirit in action.
The Committee is immensely grateful for the generosity and support of HENRA Members – thank you. I am sure we will arrange another sand clearance event, in the not too distant future.
