On Wednesday 27th December 2023, a HENRA Special General Meeting (SGM) was convened at St Nicholas Church Hall with a good turn out of 69 local residents.
With special thanks to Eddie Coope who agreed to chair the meeting, which was held for the specific purpose of:
- Confirmation that all previous Committee members have resigned their posts
- Giving members the opportunity to vote to stop any further activity to close HENRA and disperse its assets
- Providing members with the opportunity to vote in a new Committee from those volunteers who have come forward.
All of the above points were put to the members in attendance and I am pleased to say that all items were passed by way of a democratic vote with overwhelming agreement.
The new Committee are delighted to be able to continue the good work of HENRA and in due course will update this website with a 2024 programme of meetings and events and share with members important information relating to the area.
We welcome new members and local residents can join for free until September 2024.
