Here is an update for HENRA residents regarding the replacement of the damaged structures of Mudeford Spit Pontoon.
After a short manufacturing delay, BCP Seafront Development Team have been advised that Walcon Marine Ltd will begin works to replace the damaged pontoon with newly manufactured structures during the week commencing Monday 10 June, with works anticipated to complete in June as planned.
This work is being carried out by barge and is weather dependant.
The Team will keep local Councillors informed who will pass on any further info to residents.
Upon completion of the works, the Mudeford Spit Pontoon can be re-opened and ferry operations can resume in June as previously stated. The Seafront Team remain in contact with ferry operators and are keeping them informed.
